# Dida Code Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-05 · Draft pending legal review

**Nova Globen AB** (Sweden) is the data controller for the Dida Code application
and the code.didabit.com services. Contact: privacy@didabit.com.

## The application

Dida Code is designed to not phone home:

- **No telemetry.** The application collects no usage analytics and sends no
crash reports or product telemetry to Nova Globen AB or anyone else.
- **No accounts.** The application has no sign-in and stores no identity.
- **Local data stays local.** Settings, editor state, and workspace data are
stored on your machine (under `%APPDATA%\Dida` and `~/.dida`).
- **Network connections are user-initiated**: git operations talk to the
remotes you configure; links you click open in your browser.
- **Update check** (when released): the application may periodically request
a small version manifest from code.didabit.com. Like any web request, this
exposes your IP address and the requested URL to our hosting provider
(Microsoft Azure, EU region). We do not use it to identify or track you,
and no identifier is attached to the request.

## The website and subscriptions

When you purchase a subscription at code.didabit.com we process: company
name, billing email, tier and seat count, and license/order identifiers.
Payments are processed by **Revolut Bank UAB / Revolut Ltd**; we never see
your card details. We use this data to deliver and manage your license,
issue receipts, and meet bookkeeping obligations (legal bases: contract
performance and legal obligation, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).

We retain subscription records for as long as your subscription is active
plus the period required by Swedish accounting law. We do not sell personal
data or use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

## Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction,
portability, or object to processing, and you may lodge a complaint with a
supervisory authority (in Sweden: IMY). Contact privacy@didabit.com to
exercise these rights.
